  • Mission: The mission if the BKU Ministry is to evangelize, edify, and equip the church in small groups so that each member will evangelize, edify, and equip each other (Matt. 28:19-20; Eph. 4:11-16; 2 Timothy 2:2).

Brother's Keeper Objectives

  1. To provide a small group atmosphere where every  brother and sister in the church will keep saved and active for Christ.

  2. To provide opportunities for every Christian to cultivate friendships in the Kingdom, to come to know, love and trust each other and to fulfill the responsibility to bear each others burdens.

  3. To provide times of prayer and sharing concerns for whatever problems there may be and exercise the "same care one for another" (1 Cor. 12:25).

  4. To provide a means of communication to the leadership regarding specific needs of the members of the church.

  5. To provide food for the bereaved, the ill and families of your Brother's Keeper Unit who many need special help such as in times of extended hospitalization, ect.

  6. To provide an effective means of personal contact and exhortation for those growing weak or failing to attend the services of the church.

  7. To provide a channel of instant communication to the entire church in times of need or emergency and special efforts such Gospel meetings, funerals, weddings, ect.

  8. To provide information to the leadership and church office when any member of the unity may be hospitalized so that flowers can be sent from the church and appropriate visits made.
